Privacy and agreement:
The Art of African Safari will keep all personal information you give to us as strictly confidential and no personal information will be made available. Once we receive any personal information, including your name, e-mail address, mailing address, we will protect such information from unauthorized access and use.
The Art of African Safari may send e-mail messages to our customers with news and special offers and users may, by return mail, indicate whether they would prefer not to receive any such mail in future.
The information contained on this site is an invitation to do business and not an offer. If you forward an offer to us, The Art of African Safari shall indicate their acceptance thereof by return mail.
Due to the variation of season our rates are purely an indication and whilst we do our best to maintain the accuracy these are indicative.
Bookings and Confirmations:
By written acceptance of the quotation the client agrees to the terms and conditions herein and booking will only be confirmed when a 30% deposit payment has been made. Failure to do so will result in your reservation automatically being cancelled. The balance of payment is due 60 days prior to the commencement date of your itinerary. Bookings made within 60 days prior to departure are subject to full payment at the time of confirming the reservation.
Please note that should you have been quoted in foreign currency, pricing will be finalized when all bank costs and rates have been calculated, also note that all these costs will be clearly stated in your invoice to maintain transparency.
Services are quoted on rates available at the time.
Prices are inclusive of Namibian VAT.
Prices are exclusive of commission and bank fees.
Rates are subject to change in the event of unforeseen increases by suppliers, fuel increase, Government levies and taxes or any other factors beyond our control.
Rates are only valid for the dates stated on the quotation.
Quotations are estimates of travel price and subject to availability. The Art of African Safari reserves the right to substitute quoted services with alternatives, should original services not be available.
The travel price will be adjusted to the final confirmation.
A 30% deposit of the quoted travel price is payable upon acceptance of quote.
Different conditions for group tours may apply.
The final confirmation is binding. Any changes thereafter will incur an administration fee of NAD 100.00
If the travel dates are changed, the tour is regarded as cancelled and a new arrangement booked. Conditions apply.
Payment:
The invoice will be issued upon final confirmation and is payable at least 60 days before arrival
Travel documents will be sent when full payment has been received.
Bookings received within 60 days before arrival need to be pain within 3 days of final invoice and no later than 7 days prior to arrival, whichever is first.
All payments must be done in either Namibian Dollar, US Dollar or EURO.
An official bank receipt is required to trace your payment.
If services are not paid up in full by the travel date, The Art of African Safari reserves the right to cancel all arrangement and to claim compensation for any possible damaged suffered.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are valid on date of written notice by The Art of African Safari. Fees Apply as follows:
Up to 46 days before arrival - Full 30% of deposit is forfeited.
45 to 31 days before arrival - 50% of total tour price
30 to 16 days before arrival - 70% of total tour price
15 and less days before arrival - 100% of total cost is forfeited
Should travelers depart before completion of tour, no refund will be given and no credit will be granted by The Art of African Safari.
Insurance, Liability and Responsibility:
The Art of African Safari is not responsible for any costs incurred due to changes caused by natural disasters or other factors beyond our control.
All travelers are required to have adequate travel insurance for emergency medical assistance and evacuation. Proof of insurance may be requested.
Adequate cancellations and curtailment cover as well as luggage insurance are recommended.
The Art of African Safari accepts no liability for the death, injury, sickness or damage to any person or property.
Namibia has little modern infrastructure, sparse population and vast remote areas. While every endeavor has been made to ensure smooth execution of travel plans, unforeseen factors can necessitate impromptu changes of itinerary of present temporary inconvenience until assistance is available. The Art of African Safari will undertake appropriate measures to remedy variations and delays as soon as reasonably possible.
Traveler Responsibility:
The Art of African Safari endeavors to provide current and comprehensive travel information but does not accept responsibility or liability for omissions or inaccuracies.
Travelers shall inform The Art of African Safari of any factors and physical restrictions relevant for selection of travel routes, accommodation and activities.
Travelers should be familiar with the itinerary and conditions of travel in Namibia.
Travelers need to ensure that passports, visas and health certificates are valid for travel to each destination.
Travelers shall adhere to the regulations of the legal authorities of Namibia
Travelers shall accept and follow all reasonable instructions given by the guide. Failure to comply could cause harm to the group or individual.
Travelers should take every endeavor to positively contribute to the harmony of the group.
The Art of African Safari or the guide shall be informed of any dietary requirements, ailments, disabilities or other conditions that might affect the well-being of the traveler.
Group members are subject to seat rotation throughout the tour to allow each participant a fair chance of front and window seats.
Luggage is restricted to one suitcase and one hand luggage per person. Duffel bags are preferred and no hard-shell suitcases are allowed. Luggage should be clearly marked.
Smoking is not permitted on the vehicles. Rest stops will be made periodically that will allow traveler to smoke outside.
Travelers should dispose of refuse responsibly without burdening the environment.
